Is it really important to you?

This is one of my favorite quotes.

If it is important to you, you will find a way…. If not, you will find an excuse.

Actions speak louder than words. And so often we say certain things are our priorities, but when the rubber meets the road, are they really?

You can’t say that God is a priority in your life but not carve out time every day to spend time with Him.

You can’t say your health is a priority but then make excuses as to why you can’t eat healthy, or why you can’t take half an hour out of your day to exercise… even if that exercise is just a slow walk around the block.

You say your family is a priority? How much quality time do you spend with them? Do you put their needs before your own? Do you take care of your own spiritual and physical health so you can be there for them when they need you?

My own pet peeve… you can’t tell someone you love them and not take care of your health. Because you are leaving them to someday struggle emotionally or financially watching you battle with an illness that was totally preventable. Not to mention derailing their life as they have to take care of you and not live their life to the fullest.

If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse.
