Living Free Loving Life
John 10:10 tells us that the thief (Satan) comes to steal, kill and destroy, but that Jesus came not only to give us life, but life more abundantly.
In other words, Jesus came so that we could live our lives to the full.
I love the NLT version of this verse. “ The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.”
A rich and satisfying life. Sounds good, doesn’t it? But how many of us can say we are living that rich and satisfying life that Jesus died to give us? Very few. Why is that? It’s because the thief knows exactly how to pull us away from the Source of that abundant life. Satan is a liar and the father of lies. And unless we are trained on how to recognize his lies and rid ourselves of his influence, that rich and satisfying life will always be just out of reach. We might taste it from time to time, but unless we learn how to stand against the wiles of the devil, it will never truly become a part of who we are.
We are in a war you know… a war for our souls (mind, will and emotions), our health, our children, our future, and our abundant life. The good news is that the battle belongs to the Lord... But we are His instruments of battle... And just like a soldier making sure his weapon is well taken care of; the Lord makes sure that He takes care of His own.
This website has a two-fold purpose… First, it is designed to equip you for battle. By breaking down spiritual warfare into practical, Biblical teachings and not turning it into some whacky hyper-charismatic display that diverts our attention from God and places it on the enemy, my goal is to provide books, journals and other resources to help you truly live free.
The second goal of this website is to provide resources on how to live a healthy lifestyle that provides energy and vitality and brings glory to God.
To truly enjoy life to the fullest, taking care of our health is a must.
